This Privacy Policy explains how Mellow Water LLC, doing business as HomeServ Sites ("HomeServ Sites," "we," "us"), collects and uses information through homeservsites.com and the Services we provide to our clients.
1. Information we collect
- Information you give us: name, business name, email, phone, website, service area, and anything you type into our forms or send us.
- Client account information: billing details (processed by our payment processor; we do not store full card numbers), and access details you share so we can set up your site and Google Business Profile.
- Automatic information: basic technical data when you visit our site, such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and referring site, collected through cookies and similar tools.
2. Information we process for our clients
When we run websites, booking forms, missed-call text-back, and review tools for our clients, we process information about their customers (for example a caller's phone number or a form submission). We process that information on our client's behalf and only to provide the Services to that client. If you are a customer of one of our clients, please contact that business directly with privacy questions; we will help them respond.
3. How we use information
- To build your preview and provide the Services
- To communicate with you by email, phone, or text about your preview, account, and support
- To bill you and keep records
- To improve our website and Services
- To comply with law and protect our rights
We may also send occasional marketing emails to businesses. Every marketing email includes a way to unsubscribe.
4. Text messages
If you give us your mobile number, we may text you about your preview or account. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. We do not sell or share mobile numbers or text-messaging opt-in data with third parties for their marketing purposes.
5. How we share information
We do not sell personal information. We share information only with:
- Service providers who help us operate (for example hosting, email, phone and SMS providers, analytics, and payment processing), under appropriate confidentiality terms
- Authorities when required by law or to protect rights and safety
- A buyer or successor if our business is sold or reorganized
6. Cookies and analytics
We use cookies and similar tools to understand how our site is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
7. Data retention
We keep information as long as needed to provide the Services, meet legal and accounting obligations, and resolve disputes, then delete or de-identify it.
8. Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect information, including SSL encryption on sites we host. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
9. Your choices and rights
You can ask to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you by emailing [email protected]. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state law (for example the Utah Consumer Privacy Act, where applicable). We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
10. Children
Our Services are for businesses and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
11. Changes
